Dragon Language Revealed: Download Dragon Font

Dragon   language  revealed

For all you Skyrim fans out there, you already know that Dragon language is a fictional language used by dragons and people to perform shouts in the land of Skyrim.

Dragon Language consists of 34 symbols: there are 25 that map directly to letters in the English alphabet, and 9 that map to pairs of letters. The Dragon language does not have "C" as that sound is created by either "S" or "K".

The shape of the letters is constrained by their need to be written using three large talons and a vestigial fourth digit called the dewclaw. Thus, each letter consists of at most three scratches and a dot.

Google vs. Microsoft: Google’s Days Numbered?

“Google it!” said millions of people around the globe.

.
For the past few years Google has become a synonym for ‘search’ and they’ve been clinging to the throne for so many years, but now as Microsoft’s latest search engine Bing has slowly started to get an advanced search algorithm, many users including us, at Molten Transistor, are wondering how long Google will remain the Search-king?

Three features that make us go for Bing.

Visual Search

One of Bing’s major advantage is the Visual Search feature. While it’s definitely still in beta (and not really beta in the Google sense) what it can do is rather impressive. For the queries it has information for, such as exercises or  sports, it displays a series of related pictures sorted in alphabetical order.

More on this page

Bing’s searches have one key advantage over Google’s. When you’re paging through the results Bing returns, you can click on an arrow that appears to the right of the search and get a preview of the content on the page. For example, the preview for Apple’s website provides links for all of Apple’s major products and includes support information. For a business, the contact info, hours and other important information is usually listed.

This a very useful feature, allowing you to get the information you need without having to surf through page after page, especially if you’re in a hurry.

Bing Video

As a video aggregator, Bing Video has Google’s arse whipped. Google Video searches mostly  return Youtube and Google Video videos, while incorporating the odd Vimeo or Dailymotion video here and there.
Bing also includes these videos, but also includes clips from major network shows and Hulu. The best part, however, is the way the videos are presented. Google’s video search aesthetic isn’t particularly well-suited for video medium either, with results pages that look like crude versions of Youtube’s search result pages. By comparison, Bing’s results pages look much sleeker.

In addition, when you mouse over a video’s thumbnail on these results pages, a preview of the video begins to play. It’s an incredibly useful feature.

After all this, will Google still remain as the most used search engine, or will Bing take over?

Skyrim: Largest Battle (10 Alduin and all 8 Dragon Priests)

We at Molten Transistor tried a Skyrim experiment by summoning ten Alduins and all eight Dragon Priests at once. Well, as you know one dragon priest alone would be tough enough, let alone all eight of them with ten Alduins.
The game’s engine and graphics did not disappoint us, the moment these beasts were unleashed the landscape and weather in Skyrim became grim and violent, leaving us helpless even with god mode on. And not to forget the combined meteor showers summoned by all TEN Alduins, how much more awesome can a game get?We had the most fun we could have had and experienced the Skyrim magnificence.

Foodies: Kochi Street Menu

From spicy pav bhajji’s, aloo paratha to grilled alfama’s and flavorful masala dosas , Kochi is certainly NOT lagging behind in any typical foodies appetite.

When it comes to making the hottest and tastiest aloo paratha’s, none can rule over Ernakulam’s favorite dabba at Broadway, and when it comes to the best Shawarma or grilled chicken, Majlis at Edapally is indeed the winner. Now what set’s apart Majlis is the ratio of meat to vegetable in their shawarma’s, in which the meat is higher and obviously much more appealing for shawarma lovers around the city.

Places like Real Arabia and Street Menu at MG Road have also won the hearts of many kochites, and the trend for all these fast-foods are ever growing in the city of Kochi.

Another foodie’s attraction at Kochi would be the chat masala rich Pav Bhajji’s served hot from the tawa at Bimbis located at South Ernakulam.

Even though these local food chains have won the hearts of hundreds, there are also star-rated hotels like Grand, which have managed to please the people with their exquisite Prawn Biriyani and memorable Murg Dhaniya, which is indeed a massive treat for any food-lover and it is something that should not be missed.
So next you’re at Kochi, be sure to check out these places.

KFC Fiery Grilled: Fiery Enough to Tickle Your Senses?

Ever since KFC started their new Fiery Grilled Chicken in their Kochi Outlets, there has been a growing buzz around KFC-fans about it.

And as expected it did not disappoint many of the customers, ofcourse, the ones who are a bit sensitive to heat and spices found it a bit too overwhelming.

The Fiery Grilled differs from the crispy as they are not covered in sauce, but marinated in pepper and other spices and then grilled.

Again managed to stand-up to Colonel Sander’s standards as they provided us with something that is truly Finger Lickin’ Good!

Google Fights For The Throne

Ever since Facebook and Twitter got the spotlight in the social world, Google has been trying it’s best to fight off the competition with some stupid decisions, which included Wave, Google Buzz and now recently Google+.

Google has been putting forward some pretty tricky tactics to promote it; like overhauling its search results to include only results from Google+, while omitting facebook and twitter. This coerces users into being members of Google+ if they want their friends to find them in Google search.

This move has been openly criticized by twitter and even a ‘Don’t be evil’ bookmarklet directed towards Google was released by facebook, twitter and myspace.

And when Google decided to integrate image editing features into plus, we all thought it was a good mark, but later when they decided to bring down picnik along with it, we realized how serious Google was about putting their feet into the social space.

The search giant has been known for its unique approach to service and app development, but when it comes to social networking, they simply don’t get it right. Maybe it is the timing that matters. Facebook came when the time was right for it to get the spotlight, but was Google+ a bit too late to reach the social-station? Or will G+ change the world of social networking and grant Google the throne which now obviously belongs to facebook?
Let’s wait and see.

Angry Birds 'Crashing' In to Facebook

Rovio today announced that Angry Birds will be landing on Facebook next month. The news comes in the form of a very simple but clever marketing move: a Facebook Event titled “Angry Birds coming to Facebook!” The event is scheduled for between 6:00 PM EST and 9:00 PM EST this Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2012).

Here’s the event’s description:
Squawk! Everyone’s favorite furious fowl, Angry Birds, is coming to Facebook!
Nothing says “Happy Valentine’s Day” like competitive pig-popping among friends!
Join in on the fun - mark this date on your calendars, and let’s make this the biggest Facebook Event ever!
Watch the game trailer here: http://bit.ly/yaqbZw and stay tuned for more details!
The event already has over 2,000 people who have RSVP’d they are going. This will undoubtedly grow as the event and video (embedded above) are encouraging Facebook users to invite their friends.

Angry Birds has been expected to arrive on Facebook for almost a year. Back in March 2011, a rumor suggested the Facebook edition will be more “collaborative” and have “new aspects” that “just haven’t been experienced in any other platform.” Furthermore, “the pigs will have a more prominent role.”

At the time, Rovio wanted you to Like the game on Facebook so that you can “be the first to hear the news” and “gain access to exclusive content.” The Facebook Page then had just over 1 million Facebook Likes. Now it has 12.95 million.

It’s not clear if Rovio delayed the Facebook game because it still wanted to tweak things or if it just wanted to first build a bigger following on the platform before launch. I personally think it was a little bit of both.

Bulk Up Your Biceps

Make changes to your lifestyle to effectively build muscle. This means drinking more water, eating more lean protein and fiber, and making more time to engage in vigorous, fat-burning exercise. Sleeping well is also important, because it keeps your body healthy and facilitates muscle growth. With that, read on for specific exercises that target your biceps.
1.

Bicep Curls. These are the best exercises for biceps. There are hundreds of different kinds of curls, each used to help work out a specific part of the body. Curls are done with dumbbells and barbells. Some of these are listed 3.  4

Concentration Curl. This curl targets the upper biceps. Sit down on a chair or bench with a dumbbell in one of your hands. Lean forward slightly and place your triceps (back of the arm) on the inside of your thigh. Inhale as your lower, and exhale as your bring it up to your shoulder. Switch to other arm.4.  5
Hammer Curl. The hammer curl targets the lower bicep. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your palms facing your leg. Exhale as your bring your forearm up until it touches your biceps. Inhale as you lower, keeping the elbows close to the body.5.  6
Body Drag Curls. In a standing barbell curl position, slide the bar upward against your body until it reaches your mid-chest level - about as high as you'll be able to move it without cheating it up - then lower the bar the same way, making sure it does not lose contact with your torso. Your elbows will move backward and your shoulders cannot assist in the movement.6.  7
Reverse Curls. Start by holding a dumbbell in each hand with your palm facing behind you, the top of your hand facing forward. In one swift movement, bring the dumbbell up at the same time as turning it. You should end up with your arm in the basic bicep curl position. Lower and repeat. This is a great exercise for both biceps and forearms.7.  8
Preacher curls. Preacher curls target most of bicep and help in increasing strength. Start by taking a barbell or a pair of dumbbells and rest your arms on the pad and press your chest against it. Curl the weight slowly and bring it back down. The preacher pad isolates your biceps as well. When doing these curls keep the bar right at the middle, not at the bottom or top. Then you will get really strong.

Brown Fat: Burn your Fat with Fat

Fat that burns fat?
It is brown fat, actually brown in color, and its great appeal is that it burns calories like a furnace. A new study finds that one form of it, which is turned on when people get cold, sucks fat out of the rest of the body to fuel itself. Another new study finds that a second form of brown fat can be created from ordinary white fat by exercise.

Of course, researchers say, they are not blind to the implications of their work. If they could turn on brown fat in people without putting them in cold rooms or making them exercise night and day, they might have a terrific weight loss treatment. And companies are getting to work.

But Dr. André Carpentier, an endocrinologist at the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec and lead author of one of the new papers, notes that much work lies ahead. It is entirely possible, for example, that people would be hungrier and eat more to make up for the calories their brown fat burns.

“We have proof that this tissue burns calories — yes, indeed it does,” Dr. Carpentier said. “But what happens over the long term is unknown.”

Until about three years ago, researchers thought brown fat was something found in rodents, which cannot shiver and use heat-generating brown fat as an alternate way to keep warm. Human infants also have it, for the same reason. But researchers expected that adults, who shiver, had no need for it and did not have it.

Then three groups, independently, reported that they had found brown fat in adults. They could see it in scans when subjects were kept in cold rooms, wearing light clothes like hospital gowns. The scans detected the fat by showing that it absorbed glucose.

There was not much brown fat, just a few ounces in the upper back, on the side of the neck, in the dip between the collarbone and the shoulder, and along the spine. Although mice and human babies have a lot more, and in different places, it seemed to be the same thing. So, generalizing from what they knew about mice, many researchers assumed the fat was burning calories.

But, notes Barbara Cannon, a researcher at Stockholm University, just because the brown fat in adults takes up glucose does not necessarily mean it burns calories.

“We did not know what the glucose actually did,” she said. “Glucose can be stored in our cells, but that does not mean that it can be combusted.”

A new paper in The Journal of Clinical Investigation by Dr. Carpentier and his colleagues answers that question and more. By doing a different type of scan, which shows the metabolism of fat, the group reports that brown fat can burn ordinary fat and that glucose is not a major source of fuel for these cells. When the cells run out of their own small repositories of fat, they suck fat out of the rest of the body.

SCMS COLLEGE: GPC Gets New Rolls Royce, Students Get Run-down Classrooms And Acres Of Futile Rubber Trees.

A few weeks ago SCMS Chairman Dr.Nayar purchased a new Rolls Royce to add on to his existing collection of expensive cars. Seeing the old man’s glam and style, one would expect his institution to have the best facilities.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. The SSET Campus located at Karukutty  houses worn-out prehistoric classrooms, with corridors that resemble the dead ambience of a Govt. Hospital. Not to mention the heavy-metallic chairs that look like something straight out of a prison.

While all this is true, the ‘Business Masterminds’ behind SCMS promote their college as if it is next only to Oxford and Cambridge. Well, it could be next to those top-class institutes when one looks at the fee structure, which boasts a figure of one followed by many zeroes, making SCMS one of the most expensive-junkyard to do your Engineering at Kerala.

Atleast now we know how the respected Dr.Nayar gets to buy his Rolls Royce.
Only if his institute reflected the glam and looks of his car.

Most Expensive Lamborghini Supercar Inspired By U.S. Stealth Fighter Jet Goes On Sale For £850,0000

No wonder it's fast! Incredibly rare Lamborghini supercar inspired by U.S. stealth fighter jet goes on sale for £850,0000

·        * Only 20 ever built and sold to favoured customers only
·        * Even the dashboard has a G-Force meter just like the aircraft

The most expensive Lamborghini ever built has gone on sale for a bank-busting £850,000.
Expensive even by supercar standards the incredible Lamborghini Reventon has been inspired by the F22-Raptor fighter jet.
Only 20 were made by the Italian supercar firm between 2007 and 2008.

And they were never sold on the open market, the company sold them to favoured customers only, merely adding to their exclusive cache.
Design engineers took their styling cues for the sportscar from the angular and sharp lines of the plane.

It even has a G-Force meter to give the driver the impression that they are in the cockpit of a mach two plane rather than the driver's seat of a mere supercar.
Lamborghini’s engineers used a massive 6.5-litre V12 engine which develops 650bhp for the car - giving it a 0-62mph time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed 'in excess' of 211mph.
Supercar dealer SuperVettura has now caused a stir among investors looking for a blue chip investment after taking delivery of the UK’s only model.

The Surrey-based specialists are advertising the 2008 Reventon, which cost £800,000 new and has covered just 1,000 miles, for £849,000.
Tommy Wareham, from SuperVettura, said: 'The Lamborghini Reventon cannot be compared to anything else produced by the famous sports cars maker.
'Its exclusivity is second to no other car in the range - it is simply exquisite, encompassing everything Lamborghini stands for.'

The new Siri alternative for iPhones and Android?

When the iPhone 4S was released one of its most of hyped features was “Siri” – The Personal Assistant with natural language processing. Users of other versions of iPhone were disappointed because Siri was exclusive to iPhone 4S. Android users too felt left out as Android lacked such a feature. But it seems Apple finally has some true competition out in the market.
Evi, well an amazing piece of artificial intelligence tops off Siri in numerous ways. For starters, Siri is not so good at answering stuff that’s not about US. So Evi might just be Siri for the rest of the world, since it can be used on all versions of iPhone and Android too.
Evi knows around a billion facts and she can even search trillions when needed. It also has a other useful features such as Yelp for local searches, conventional search etc. Evi isn’t perfect either. She can’t add things to your calendar or reminders, but it will just be a matter of time before she can do this, as the app is still in Beta and is improving all the time.
Folks over at TechCrunch, installed Evi on an iPhone 4S and compared it to Siri. Ask “How do I make apple pie?”. Siri is can’t provide a direct answer and so asks whether you want to search the web. Evi provides a list of recipes with links.
They also asked “Who was President when Queen Elizabeth II was born?”. “Siri is unable to provide an answer and suggests performing a web search. Evi determines who Queen Elizabeth II is, when she was born, the dates when she will have been a teenager and then compares this against which US presidents were in office over that time, delivering the results of both serving US presidents during those years.” – says TechCrunch. That’s pretty intelligent if you ask me.
Evi even opens up a multitude of opportunities – it may make its way to televisions, consoles etc. Siri sure has some competition now and even iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G users may jump onto the Evi bandwagon.

Weight Loss or Fat Loss: The Right Choice?

With the growing need for well-toned abs and biceps, the craving for weight-loss has created a wild frenzy around the world.
But is it WEIGHT that is actually giving us those muffin-tops and fat bellies?

Well it is true that your extra bag hanging out from your abdomen does contribute to your weight, but weight is not the villain here. It is the FAT, that  we should try to burn off.

The current trend of starving yourself till you turn into one of those thin Egyptian mummies is absolutely not the right approach. In fact eating smaller meals throughout the day(about 6 small-meals a day instead of 3 large meals) is better than starving , as the fat-burning process initially requires some calories to start.

Along with the fat-burning process, one should make sure that muscle-mass replaces the fat, and for this the best way is to have a protein-rich diet and not to forget your cardio and weight-training.
Proteins have a complex structure and they help in building muscles, as a result they aid in the fat-loss process. It keeps you from becoming ultra-thin by substituting those flabs with abs while keeping your weight roughly the same.

So try to replace your fatty lunch with a combo of a whey protein shake and some eggs and make sure you consume enough greens and milk.

The ‘Epic Sound’ Factor: How To Make A Movie Unforgettable?

Ever wondered how movies like Inception, The Lord of The Rings or Nolan’s Dark Knight managed to ring in our minds even after we were out of the movies?

The answer is efficient Sound Editing and Mixing; while watching a movie or once you’re out, something that gives us the chills of ‘awesomeness’ most of the time is the sound effects and the background score used in the movie.

So it is of utmost importance that the music and sound effects used for a movie is optimal, else how much ever appealing the acting is or visual effects are, the movie will simply lack the ‘wow’ factor.

Often perfect sound mixing is ignored even by the biggest film-makers, and most of the time, how much ever good their movie is, we simply don’t remember it once the silver screen goes off.

A typical example for importance of sound mixing is portrayed by the movie Book of Eli, even though the effects, direction and acting in the movie are good, it is the music by Atticus Ross that actually gave life to the movie. Another movie where good use of Music was made was none other than Nolan’s Masterpiece, Inception, where Hans Zimmer had done an epic work with the background scores.

So for all you amateur movie makers out there, even if the actors in your movies disappoint you, try to make sure that their inefficiency is easily masked with excellent music.

Camera Tripod Stands: Necessary for amateur short-film makers?

Amateur filmmakers usually have their minds set on using a camera tripod stand  for taking very professional shots with minimum distortion. That may not always be the case, and sometimes losing the tripod makes for better shots.

Tripods are often used for achieving shots with a minimum ‘shake’ or distortion, and when a director does not have to worry about this, his creativity may run amok and he may go for twisted and unique camera angles which would have been impossible to achieve without a stand.

If chosen wisely, then these angles would not pose a problem, but amateurs often tend to get too excited with this new found ‘angle-freedom’ and they often resort to shot-angles that are usually, well let’s say, not appealing to the viewers.
In this case, the use of tripods can actually be harmful for the film. So it is advised that the director doesn’t get overly-creative with the angles so much that it will visually bore your viewers.

Now how do we go about WITHOUT tripods?

Most scenes in a film can be shot perfectly with a single camera position being fixed for each actor, so that later the shots can be cropped and joined to produce a continuous video, this way the need for moving around the camera much declines, and so does the amount of distortion in the shot. And having an angle-restriction might actually help because you will automatically resort to angles that are often pleasing for the eye.
Ofcourse, this does not mean that tripods should be avoided completely for the movie-making process, and there are 100s of shots that only a tripod can handle; but when you don't have one, you can resort to the above tips, and always keep in mind that multiple shots of the same scene from the same angle can be later used for creating shake-free videos at the editor’s desk.
A movie might appear discontinuous, shaky or even terrible, but with perfect editing and dubbing, one can overcome these minor discontinuities and distortions to make a PROFESSIONAL film

Was Einstein Wrong?

About 106 years ago, Einstein’s theory of special relativity claimed that nothing can travel faster than light; and later the world of physics grew on this. But recent experiments by the scientists of CERN may have proved that he was wrong.

A team at LHC sent beams of subatomic particles over 450 miles to a laboratory in Gran Sasso in the Italian Alps. The experiment yielded shocking results, when neutrinos appeared to travel 60 nanoseconds faster than light. The run was carried out twice, and surprisingly the same result was yielded again.

Could this actually mean Einstein was wrong? If so, what could these shocking results hold for the future of physics?
